This is definitely a subject i would like to see written about. I did a lot of work with them on my previous application, and the lack of documentation on it made it a bit of a challenge last year.

Perhaps it's not popular topic but have significant impaxt on improving performance. And this is very important for production ready app.

I think coupling this with service workers would do wonders with regards to building a true offline ready web app.
